We are looking for an experienced Technical Project Manager – Telecom to lead the successful delivery of complex telecom programs across BSS/OSS domains. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise in Java-based enterprise systems, microservices architecture, telecom platforms, and project delivery management. This role requires a balance of technical leadership, delivery excellence, stakeholder management, and team leadership to drive large-scale telecom transformation initiatives.


Role & Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end delivery of telecom projects across BSS/OSS domains, ensuring alignment with business objectives, scope, quality, and timelines.

  • Manage project planning, execution, monitoring, risk management, and delivery governance using Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid methodologies.

  • Collaborate with architects, developers, product owners, and business stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.

  • Drive solution delivery leveraging Java, Microservices, APIs, cloud-native architecture, and enterprise integration technologies.

  • Own project estimation, resource planning, budgeting support, and capacity management activities.

  • Ensure successful delivery of telecom modules including CRM, Billing, Charging, Product Catalog, Order Management, Mediation, and Provisioning.

  • Monitor project risks, dependencies, and issues while implementing mitigation strategies and escalation plans.

  • Establish and promote best practices in Agile delivery, DevOps, CI/CD, quality assurance, and release management.

  • Lead cross-functional teams, fostering collaboration, accountability, and high-performance delivery culture.

  • Manage stakeholder communications, governance meetings, status reporting, and customer engagement activities.

  • Coordinate with vendors, partners, and distributed teams to ensure smooth project execution.

  • Drive customer satisfaction through effective planning, execution, and delivery excellence.


Job Requirements

Educational Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline.

  • Master’s degree will be considered an advantage.

Experience Requirements

  • 10–15 years of overall IT industry experience.

  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in Technical Project Management, Program Management, or Delivery Management roles.

  • Proven experience delivering large-scale telecom projects and enterprise transformation programs.

  • Experience working with cloud-native and scalable application architectures.

Database

  • Strong experience with:

    • Oracle Database

  • Expertise in:

  • Strong knowledge of:

Preferred Qualifications

  • PMP, PRINCE2, PMI-ACP, CSM, SAFe Agilist, or equivalent project management certifications.

  • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.

  • Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and containerized environments.

  • Exposure to DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and test automation frameworks.

  • Experience working on large-scale telecom transformation, modernization, or digitalization programs.

  • Experience managing multi-vendor and geographically distributed delivery teams.
